Update: COVID-19 Relief action
In the past few weeks we have been working from a distance to organise a support system in Zambia. This to try and slow down the spread and transmission of COVID-19.

Close to 500 masks have so far been produced by the amazing team at the ZACD (Zambian Association for Children with Disabilities): 120 of which we have sponsored for the doctors, nurses and personnel working at the Beit Cure Hospital of Lusaka. The remaining amount is ready to be distributed to the communities in need. The distributed pack (a paper bag to decrease the plastic waste), containing multiple masks, hand sanitiser, a bar of soap and an information sheet in regard to how best protect oneself against coronavirus.
We will start with the distribution of the pack in the upcoming weeks. A donation of CHF 20 would cover: The materials and the production of the masks The purchase of sanitiser and/or soap The delivery to the communities in need.

Aggiornamento: Azione di sostegno COVID-19
Nelle ultime settimane siamo stati all'opera, per organizzare un programma di sostegno in Zambia per cercare di rallentare e minimizzare la trasmissione del virus COVID-19.

Fino ad ora, quasi 500 mascherine sono state prodotte da un incredibile team del ZACD (Zambian Association for Children with Disabilities): 120 delle quali sono state sponsorizzate da Blu Spring per dottori, infermieri/e, e personale al Beit Cure Hospital di Lusaka. Il resto delle mascherine verrà distribuito alle comunità bisognose. I pacchi per la distribuzione (in sacchi di carta per diminuire l’uso di plastica) contengono un paio di maschere, un flacone di disinfettante per le mani, sapone e una pagina di informazione riguardante le misure di protezione dal coronavirus.
La distribuzione dei pacchi inizierà nella seguente settimana. Una donazione di CHF 20 copre: il materiale e la produzione delle mascherine chirurgiche, l’acquisto di disinfettante e/o sapone, la distribuzione alle comunità bisognose.
