Sponsor a Campaign

By Sponsoring a Campaign the support will go directly towards the chosen program. There is an array of sponsorships you can choose from with different targets and beneficiaries. Two of our programs target Wheelchairs for Kids, one covering the costs of a wheelchair (shipping and assembly) whereas the second focuses on covering the reach out programs for follow-up visits. In addition we have sponsorship programs with the education objective to cover the yearly school tuition of children as well as helping Esther, a single mother, to become a physiotherapist.

WHEELCHAIRS FOR KIDS

IMG_2024-2.jpg

Support a disabled child in Zambia and getting him a new wheelchair. This does not only give him/her a chance to be more mobile and play outside with his/her peers, but also give him/her the chance to attend school. A wheelchair takes a big strain off the carers; who normally carry the child on their backs, and are now maybe even able to have a job. A simple gesture that changes not only the life of a child, but improved the quality of life of a whole family!   More information →

FOLLOW-UP REACH OUT

Follow-up visits is the most recent project added to the Blu Spring campaigns. The latter have been designed to check on the child and the wheelchair supplied. This allows us to gather data regarding the physical and social effect of a wheelchair for both the child and the family. Further, as children are still in their growth phase or their position might improve or worsen over time, it is important to adapt the wheelchair consequently. More information →

SCHOOL TUITON

PB070028.jpg

Education is a right that not everybody has access to yet. On average, one in three children with disabilities of primary school age is out of school, compared with one in seven children without disabilities. Primary school completion is also lower for children with disabilities. we have the aim to promote access to education for the families which have the financial impossibility to send their children to school.  More information →

Esther is a young Zambian woman and single mom to a small boy. She was one of the mommy’s who learnt how to perform therapy with the children in our absence. Now, she has the aspiration to become a physiotherapist and is currently enrolled in the college of Lusaka. Unfortunately she cannot manage the financial strain of the tuition on her own. We are looking at making her dreams, to become a physical therapist, come true. More information →
