Teach to Fish — a micro credit program

In collaboration with Papaya Key Foundation

Teach To Fish is an initiative in collaboration with Papaya Kay Foundation. It is an empowerment project to build capacity and knowledge among mothers of children living with complex disabilities.

A microcredit system is introduced (without a rate of interest) among 15 unemployed women, that allows them to start up an income generating activity to sustain their families and to give the right care to their disabled children.

The credit will slowly be repaid by the women with the growing success of the business.

Moreover, there is the possibility to get further microcredits to further expand and grow the income generating activity.

The project has successfully take place. Read the stories of the women and take a look in their economic activity.
