A wheelchair, in a continent as Africa, and developing countries such as Zambia allows kids living with a disability to have an improved quality of life
Follow-up visits
We have so far successfully accomplished to visit over 130 children, data which we are currently using to get a better statistical insight in the effect of the wheelchairs on the children and the community.
Teach to fish
Teach To Fish is an initiative in collaboration with Papaya Kay Foundation. It is an empowerment project to build capacity and knowledge among mothers of children living with complex disabilities.
Education
One in three children with disabilities of primary school age is out of school, compared with one in seven children without disabilities. Primary school completion is also lower for children with disabilities.
